Any game changes and/or cancellations are NOT authorized by any individual, without approval from the WBCYC Board of Directors.
We use caution when the weather forcast includes conditions that may cause driving hazards. Information will be posted regarding these Basketball game/practice cancellations on the home page of our website. Cancellations are not permitted without the consent of the WBCYC Board of Directors.

This program offers separate teams for boys and girls that are 6 years – 17 years of age within the calendar year of registration. The regular season is played during Fall & Winter seasons.
Several divisions are offered. Each division is determined by registration turn-out. Please Note - Youngest aged division is instructional and no score will be kept (the clock is only used for time). Coaches for this division will instruct children on how to play using the WBCYC basketball rules as a guide. All other divisions will play according to the rules governed by the WBCYC.
Uniform required consists of a WBCYC reversible jersey and shorts which can be purchased at Murphy's Sport Shack located at 101 Deer Park Avenue, Babylon Village (631 669-9836)
If you have any concerns or complaints, please submit the following in writing, in order for WBCYC Board review:
- State your concern or complaint
- Include your name and telephone number
Prior to games, practices are scheduled during the week in the evenings at the WBCYC. When games begin, practices are at the discretion of the coach and will be scheduled at available West Babylon School District gyms. Coaches should call the WBCYC on Wednesdays to schedule practice for the next week. Practice scheduling will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Games are played during the week in the evenings at the WBCYC (The Patrick M. Farrell Gym) and are scheduled for 1 hour each: 6 PM, 7 PM, 8 PM and 9pm. The WBCYC employs referees for regular season games. Changes to the game schedule are not permitted without the consent of the WBCYC Board of Directors.
Registration fee for the 2012/2013 Season is $60 until 10/12/12. Late registration cost will be $70.
Teams are draft driven. Registrations received after completed draft will be placed on the next available team with the least amount of players, space providing.
Please be advised requests for a specific team for any reason will not be considered.
